Our Story
We both grew up in the western world, so our life experiences bring us valuable knowledge of how our products should be crafted and how they will be tested. They need to be able to withstand the daily wear and tear they might face on the farm or ranch and on the trail, while also being a piece of wearable art. That’s why we make functional, yet beautiful handcrafted items for every aspect of life.
Silvertip what?
Our business name, Silvertip Country Designs, comes from the fact that we spend as much time as we can in the Wyoming Wilderness exploring horseback through trail riding, hunting, camping, fishing, and all the things. With that, comes bears… grizzly bears. Otherwise known as “silvertips” for their silver tipped fur.
We love those Silvertip Country adventures chasing elk bugles in the thick timber, glassing hillsides for a monster muley, riding endless miles to see what’s over the next ridge. So if we aren’t at our day jobs, working in the leather shop, or flinging arrows at an archery competition, you will find us in the mountains of Wyoming.
